Joachim was admitted to the German bar in August 2005 and joined the Trade and Commerce Practice Group of Baker McKenzie in Munich, Germany in March 2007. He was seconded to the legal department of Siemens AG in 2009 and to the legal department of Amazon in 2013 and 2016. In 2010, he worked at Baker McKenzie’s office in Frankfurt. He earned a Master in Law at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, with an emphasis on commercial law in 2006. Joachim studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, from where he graduated in 2003. He routinely publishes on distribution law issues. Furthermore, he is a co-author of the legal commentary Flohr/Wauschkuhn on all aspects of distribution law published by the leading German legal publishing house C. H. Beck.

Katharina Spenner is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Munich office and a member of the Firm's Steering Committee of the EMEA International Commercial & Trade Practice Group. She joined the Firm's Frankfurt office in 2000 and transferred to the Munich office in 2004. She was seconded to the Amsterdam office for eight months in 2003. Katharina previously worked as a freelancer in the legal department of Lufthansa Cargo AG from 1997 to 1999. She has written several commentaries on competition and distribution law and regularly delivers presentations and workshops on topics related to distribution and competition law.

Florian Tannen is a partner in the Munich office of Baker McKenzie with more than 10 years of experience. He advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious information technology law, including internet, computer/software and in particular data privacy law. Before joining the Firm, Florian worked for two major law firms and a large US-based technology company.

Dr. Johannes Teichmann is a senior associate in Baker & McKenzie's Munich office. He joined the Firm in 2008 and has worked in the Firm’s Barcelona office for four months in 2013. Dr. Teichmann advises clients on all aspects of commercial and distribution law and related competition law. He drafts and negotiates agency, distribution and franchise agreements as well as commercial agreements, such as purchase and supply, service, manufacturing and co-operation agreements, and advises on standard agreements. He assists in the reorganization of distribution systems and advises on related competition law matters. Dr. Teichmann also represents clients in commercial disputes and litigation, and is regularly involved in transactions. He frequently gives in-house trainings and publishes on distribution law matters, in particular regarding cross-border contracts and consequences of termination of distribution agreements.

Dr. Niklas Wielandt is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie's Real Estate and M&A Practice Group in the Frankfurt office. He advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of German real estate and tenancy law as well as corporate/M&A law.

Brigitte Estner has been an associate of Baker McKenzie’s International Commercial and Trade Practice Group in Munich since April 2019. She joined the Firm in 2018 as a research assistant in the Information Technology Practice Group. She studied law at the University of Passau. During her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Munich, Brigitte worked for the legal department of an international automotive company and for the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Toronto. She passed the education for business mediation at the Munich Center for Dispute Resolution of the LMU München.

Dr. Andreas Neumann is admitted as an attorney-at-law in the jurisdictions of Austria, Germany and New York. He is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Public Law Practice Group in Frankfurt. Prior to joining the Firm in October 2015, he gained four years of professional experience as an associate in one of Austria's leading business law firms. In this function, Andreas counseled major international enterprises in the pharmaceutical and telecommunication industries in trade law and regulatory matters. Andreas also spent nine months as a judicial clerk at various sections of the Salzburg District and Regional Court.

Vivien Vacha is a Senior Associate in Baker McKenzie's Berlin office and member of the Energy & Infrastructure team. Prior to joining the Firm, Vivien practiced in another international law firm's Banking & Finance department from 2015 to 2018, advising clients in energy and infrastructure related finance transactions. From 2009 to 2015, besides her legal studies and her legal clerkship, she worked as a research assistant for another international law firm's M&A/corporate department with a focus on energy and infrastructure law.
