Elizabeth Ebersole is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Global Employment and Labor Law group. She focuses her practice on cross-border employment law advice across the entire spectrum of employment issues facing multinational employers. She was ranked one of the top employment and labor attorneys in Chicago by Super Lawyers.

Franco-Irish, Nadège Dallais joined Baker McKenzie's Employment Practice Group in 2001 and was appointed counsel in 2015. She completed an associate training program in the Firm's Palo Alto office in 2012. Ms. Dallais is a member of the Paris Green Committee and is responsible for pro bono initiatives in the Paris office.

Fermín Guardiola has been a partner at Baker McKenzie since 1995. He heads the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group in Madrid and has over 20 years of experience in his area of practice. He is consistently recognized by Chambers Europe and Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in his field. In addition to his practice, Mr. Guardiola regularly collaborates with economic newspapers and has co-authored several reference monographs on labor and employment matters. Danielle advises multinationals and provides services across the entire spectrum of employment and employee participation law. Danielle has a strong winning track record in the field of employment litigation and won several significant court cases for multinational clients. Most recently, she assisted a multinational in a court case in which the employee submitted a claim to the court of approximately EUR 400,000. The court rejected the claim and in the ruling specifically pointed out the extensive and thorough defense.

Stephen Ratcliffe is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Employment and Compensation practice in London in which he has worked for over 20 years. He advises on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters for which he has been ranked for multiple years in Chambers & Partners. He is also a member of the Legislative & Policy Committee of the Employment Lawyers Association, and a member of the Employment Consulting Editorial Board of Lexis+. In addition to his day to day practice, Stephen is the London Office's Training Principal and co-Chairs the London BakerWomen group.

Andrew Shaw is a partner in the Firm's Employment & Compensation Law Group. Prior to attending law school, Andrew held labour relations/human resources positions at both private and public sector companies. In these roles, he managed workplace disputes and grievances to an appropriate resolution, assisted internal clients with the interpretation of employment-related legislation, and provided counsel to senior management as required. Andrew assists clients with all aspects of the employment relationship, both unionized and non-unionized, in the province of Ontario and throughout Canada. He advises and represents employers in matters regarding employment standards, wrongful dismissals, human rights, labour relations/arbitration, union organizing, collective bargaining, occupational health and safety, pay equity, and workplace investigations.

Johan Botes heads Baker McKenzie’s Employment & Compensation Practice Group in Johannesburg. Johan is experienced in employment law and labor relations, focusing on South African and sub-Saharan African employment law and employee relations. He regularly advises multinational clients on industrial relations, employment negotiations, labor dispute resolution, change management, and organizational restructuring. His team manages multijurisdictional employment and employee relations projects on behalf of various multinational clients.

Joanna Matthews-Taylor is a partner in the Dubai office of Baker McKenzie and head of the employment practice. Joanna advises on employment law and immigration matters, working with clients based in the UAE and wider Middle East region. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as a senior legal consultant for an international law firm's Middle East office, and as a qualified assistant for a leading Scottish law firm.

Christiana joined Baker McKenzie in 2014 and leads the Saudi Employment & Compensation team. She actively advises both Saudi Arabian and foreign clients on strategic employment law matters including restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcings in addition to day-to-day employment law support such as employment contracts, internal policies, terminations, Saudization and nationalization requirements.

Celeste also has a particular focus in employment, particularly contentious employment work and employee investigations.
Celeste has been recognised as a 'Litigation Star' in the Labor and Employment space by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2023 and has been ranked Band 1 in Employment in Singapore by Chambers Asia-Pacific since 2019 to date. Kenneth Chuah is a principal in the Finance & Projects Practice Group of Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow in Singapore. Kenneth has more than 10 years of experience acting for banks, borrowers and sponsors in a wide range of cross-border finance transactions across Asia Pacific. Kenneth sits on the Firm's Global Trade Finance Steering Committee. He is recognised as a rising star in Banking & Finance: Singapore by IFLR1000 2019 and recognized in Legal 500 2019 and Legal 500 2020, the latter highlighting that he has "vast knowledge in receivables financing".

Michael has more than 15 years' experience as an employment law and industrial relations lawyer, acting for clients in a range of industries, including banking and finance, insurance, health and pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, real estate, media and entertainment, information technology and professional services. He has developed and published compliance programs and best practice policies locally and within Asia Pacific. He is the author and a developer of CCH’s Employment Contracts Manager, a software package that builds and tailors smart employment contracts. He has also authored a large number of chapters in every edition of CCH’s Australian Master Human Resources Guide. Articles written by Michael on employment law topics have appeared in the Melbourne University Law Review, CFO Magazine, Human Capital, Lawyers Weekly, Human Resources, and CCH’s Employment Law Bulletin. He has also spoken at events arranged by the College of Law, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and various professional associations. He wrote and produced “Dismissal Impossible,” a training video on unfair dismissal and sexual harassment, for the Australian Stock Exchange. Michael regularly conducts employment-related litigation before State and Federal courts and industrial tribunals at an original and appellate level.
