On 23 June 2022, the Bundestag passed a bill to implement the Working Conditions Directive (EU) 2019/1152. This is intended to create transparency and predictability of working conditions and improve them overall. The law is expected to enter into force on 1 August 2022.

He studied at the universities of Tuebingen and Heidelberg and graduated from the University of Heidelberg in 2015. After graduation, Sebastian worked as a research assistant at the legal chair of civil, trade, business and labor law, and received a doctorate (Dr. iur.) from the University of Tuebingen in 2019. He passed his assessor exam in 2020. Prior to joining the Firm in 2020, Sebastian spent his legal traineeship in the jurisdiction of the Higher Regional Court Karlsruhe. As part of his legal traineeship, he worked inter alia with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Stuttgart, Germany, and the legal department of a chemical company in London, UK. Sebastian regularly publishes on a wide range of matters, in particular with regard to employment, labor and data protection law, and is a regular lecturer at the University of Tuebingen.
