Lawrence Lee is chairman of the Hong Kong and PRC offices of Baker McKenzie (1996-present) and a partner of the Firm’s Corporate & Securities Group. He has also served as chairman of the Asia Pacific Regional Council, and is a former Executive Committee member. Mr. Lee is currently a member of the Securities and Futures Commission’s (SFC) Takeovers and Mergers Panel and Takeovers Appeal Committee; he was a non-executive director of the SFC from 2009 to 2015. He is also a senior fellow of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. In addition, he serves as a senior professional adviser of Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce Ltd. He is also a council member of China Mergers & Acquisition Association and a member of Mainland Business Advisory Committee at Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
